Dirt
Rainbeau was born in the Midwest to the descendants of cowboys and sugar tramps. She spent her childhood in a small seaside town outside of Boston playing basketball and exploring the vast marshland behind her home. When she was at the ripe old age of 17 she decided to scare the crap out of her parents, move out to LA, and learn how to live. Rainbeau spent a few years working inside a cave as a video editor. She has since chosen to spend her days out in the sunlight photographing people and exploring the world that lies beyond her backyard.
She writes letters to herself (in first person) here.
