LA’s Perfect Summer Wedding

I can’t get over how awesome this wedding looked! The bright color palette was perfect for July. The location– oh my god the location! There is a big courtyard in front of the beautiful art deco Los Angeles Central Public Library in downtown. It’s usually filled with bums, restaurant patrons, tourists, bums, school groups and bums. It’s no Pershing Square, but it usually smells like piss. Then again, I would be impressed if you could show me any part of downtown that does not reek of urine.

So as the afternoon went on and things gradually got set up, the courtyard began to look less like a hobo slumber party and more like a place two people might actually want to host one of the most memorable days of their lives. The flowers and the coordinating were done by Stephanie Grace Designs, who knocked it out of the park, like always. The day went smoothly and the staff at Café Pinot, who catered the reception, were great and oh so helpful. Okay, I’ll shut up and you go look at these photos of an awesome wedding. PLEASE tell me you love that confetti as much as I do! Hands down, my favorite detail.
